Your safety and comfort comes first at Pick Your Day. We do our best to ensure that everyone in our community has a safe and enjoyable experience. Included below are some extra tips you can do to make your experience a good one.
Get to know your Localist and the activity
Before booking an activity, look for verified phone numbers, connected social networks and read the reviews written by other users who have already had the experience. Read the description of the activity or experience carefully and remember, you can always send a message directly to the Localist through our messaging service with any questions or concerns you have before making a purchase.
Use the Pick Your Day communication platform
Through Pick Your Day, we provide an excellent messaging and payment service that connects you to your Host or Users. All communications and payments made outside Pick Your Day makes it harder for us to protect your information and increases the risk of fraud and other security issues. Pick Your Day will not refund payments to Localists that are conducted outside of our payment solution.
Back up your Passports and important documents
It's always wise to take a copy of your passport and any other important documents you need for a trip and store them in another location than the original. It gives you the best start if something goes amiss.
Travel Alerts and cultural awareness
As with any journey abroad, always pay attention to travel forecasts for the region you are traveling to, and make the time to research the culture visiting to get aquainted with the customs and way of life of the people you will be visiting.
