There are several things you can do to ensure that you and your Localist will get along. The simplest and most straight forward being to check out the reviews from other guests that have used the service. These provide an honest opinion from the people who have experienced the trip first hand. Many Localists will offer a Facebook page or more details about themselves so you can get a better picture of who they are.

Remember, you can always contact a Localist before committing to any purchase with any questions or concerns you may have. We always advise that any communication you have with your Localist goes through our messaging platform to help ensure your protection.

For those who are a little nervous about using the service for the first time, we also recommend trying an experience in a group setting rather than alone, and perhaps asking the Localist to meet in a public place.
