About your Localist
To date, I've explored, photographed and written about over 1000+ secret gems in London. I love discovering new places, meeting new people and sharing experiences. I derive so much inspiration from my everyday explorations and encounters, and channel this into creating work I love- from short stories and poetry, to film and photo series'. My project has received support and recognition from various arts and heritage organisations including the Southbank Centre, NHM and Rich Mix as well as from the Mayor of London, local leaders, MP's, community groups, and a number of the special places featured.
My motto is don't just visit a city, live it.
