What to Expect

Love to run? Visiting Edinburgh? We are the first & original running tour of Edinburgh, so look no further.

I love running and I love Edinburgh. So let me share this love with you by taking you on a tour through or around or stunning city on foot, combining some site seeing with the enjoyment of running at a pace that you set. Whether it’s your first time visiting or you are a regular visitor to Edinburgh, you’ll find that a running tour can not only keep you active during your trip, but allow you to see things from a different perspective. I know, as a runner, that you always take your trainers with you to squeeze in a quickie when you can, but you’re not always sure about the best route to see the most of a city, this is where I come in.

This is for the experienced runners among you and not to be taken lightly as its a rather hilly (as the name would suggest) 14 mile circuit, so make sure you have some water and snacks with you. This route is actually a race that takes place annually in June every year, but it is also a great way to see some stunning views of Edinburgh and beyond at anytime of the year on your own merit. The route starts and finishes on Calton Hill, heading out to enjoy Corstorphine Hill, Craiglockhart Hill East, Braid Hill, Blackford Hill and up Arthur’s Seat before finishing back on Calton Hill. Who knows we might even see a Zebra along the way!
