What to Expect

Day 1: Bishkek

Upon arriving at Manas International Airport, I will whisk you away for an all day adventure in the Capital City of Kyrgysztan, Bishkek. It is located 30 minutes from the airport. The entire day is dedicated to exploring the city of Bishkek.
This includes:
Pobeda Square (Victory Square)- Monuments from WW2
Dubovjy Park (Oak Park)- local artists offer their paintings for sale, among other things.
Central Ala-Too Square- in honour of freedom
National Museum of Arts
National Philharmonic..
as well as many other places of interest. However, the tour of Bishkek would not be complete ,without a visit to our Asian Bazaar. You will experience this exciting Bazaar first hand with its noisy, colourful and fragrant atmosphere. Locals as well as tourists enjoy the bustling life of selling and buying produce, fabrics as well as other items.
Before retiring at the hotel at night, you will enjoy a wonderful traditional dinner.

Day 2: Bishkek- Issyk Kul Lake

Today we will make our way over to pictoresque Issyk Kul Lake. Enroute, visiting Burana Tower- an 1100 century minaret as well as an open air museum, the beautiful Museum of Balbans (stone warriors). We will enjoy a lunch before making our way to the gorgeous Issyk Kul Lake, surrounded by the Celestial Mountains. The Lake has been named The Pearl of Central Asia. A wonderful travel destination for most of Asians, with its salty waters and healing properties., as well as offering lots of recreational activities for all ages. Tonights stay and dinner will be in a local Hotel.

Day 3: Issyk Kul Lake-Karakol

Today we explore Beautiful Karakol City. On the way, you will have the opportunity to visit some ancient stone inscriptions dating back to 800 BC. These Petroglyphs were made more than 2000 years ago by the Shamans. We continue along the northern shore of this beautiful lake to the exciting town of Karakol. The Dungeon Mosque is a must. It was built by Amazing Chinese Wood Carvers in the early 1900’s. No metal nails were used. Truly a Beautiful accomplishment. We will also visit an Old Wooden Orthodox Church, before retiring to a guesthouse for dinner and a good nights sleep.

Day 4: Karakol-Kochkor

Todays adventure will give you a sense of the Nomadic Way of life. We will visit the Jeti-Oguz Gorge- famous for its Red Rock Mountains-named Seven Bulls. You may also hike up the Broken Heart Mountain-( aprox 20 min) to see the breath taking panoramic views of the gorge.
Moving on,in the Bokonbaeva Village, we will meet up with a local Hunter, he uses an Eagle to hunt Hares and Foxes—a traditional way of Nomadic Hunting Techniques. Your evening will be spent in a homestay.

Day 5: Kochkor-Son Kul

Today we head over to the second largest Lake in Kyrgyzstan- Beautiful Son Kul Lake. This Lake is surrounded by beautiful mountains, and it is the highest alpine Lake in Kyrgyzstan, situated at an altitude of 3013 meters above sea level. This area has been a favourite of the Kyrgys Nomads, for rest and relaxation, for centuries. Herders of the Naryn region also gravitate to the lake and pastureland, to take care of their animals. The rest of the day is yours, to explore the virgin nature of the lake and its surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay will be in a beautiful Yurts. This is a dwelling made from a wooden skeleton with felt coverings.

Day 6: Son Kul- Bishkek

After mingling with the locals in the morning, we will prepare for our drive back to Bishkek. The return trip will take us thru the southern part of Kyrgyzstan. This area is so breath taking that we will make many stops for photo opportunities. You will see the Tue Ashuu Pass- more than 3000 m above sea level- Truly one of the most magnificent sceneries in the whole country. We want to ensure your wonderful memories of Kyrgyzstan will last a lifetime.
Your last night with us will be spent in a local Hotel.

Day 7: Airport

Your transport to the Airport will be arranged, according to departure time.
